Oxytaocin

Scientists say cuddling makes people (and presumably cats – because of course we are people too) happier and reduces stress by increasing the amount of oxytocin in our bodies whenever we hug, touch or sit close to someone else.

I think there’s something in this, because I give lots of hugs and generally feel chip-chip-chipperoo. Tao, on the other hand, hardly ever gives hugs and… Two words: Grumpy. Bum.
